Remote therapy, endless possibilities

Who We Are

Fostering resilience through trauma treatment and education.

At The Center for Resilience, we’ve intentionally designed a virtual clinic model to make high-quality therapy more accessible, flexible, and deeply personal.

What You'll Gain

High-Quality Therapy Services & Resources

Clinicians at CFR are part of a thoughtful, engaged team deeply committed to the craft of therapy and ongoing clinical growth. Rather than practicing in isolation, clinicians have access to excellent clinical supervision, peer collaboration, and weekly group clinical consultation. All clinicians are welcome to attend and present cases for support, reflection, and skill-building within a collegial, growth-oriented environment.

A Collaborative Clinical Community Rooted in Excellence

Credentialing, billing, business operations, and electronic health record management are fully handled by CFR. By removing the weight of administrative and practice-management tasks, clinicians are freed to focus on what they do best: providing high-quality therapy, groups, and professional offerings rooted in their highest clinical skill.

Minimal Administrative Burden, Maximum Clinical Focus

CFR offers the autonomy of private practice alongside the connection of a shared clinical home. Clinicians create schedules that fit their lives, work remotely when desired, and maintain caseloads aligned with their capacity and comfort. For those interested in in-person work, CFR has established partnerships with schools and clinics in Holyoke and Hadley, Massachusetts, providing access to office space without the burden of securing or managing a private office. This flexibility supports balance, sustainability, and presence in clinical work.

The Freedom of Private Practice—Without the Isolation

Clinicians are supported in building caseloads that reflect their clinical interests, values, and areas of passion. CFR prioritizes diverse, affirming, and justice-minded work, including opportunities to collaborate with local Holyoke-based organizations focused on accessibility, equity, and social change—allowing clinicians to have real impact while practicing within their strengths.

Meaningful Work With Clients and Communities That Matter

As a small, collaborative group of clinicians grounded in trauma-informed and strengths-based care, we bring the same warmth, depth, and high energy you’d expect in an in-person office.

From Our Team

Stephanie Nascimento, RN.

“I love working for the center for resilience due to the communal and collaborative feel in our team as well as our shared mission in healthcare.  CFR feels in alignment with my other work if empowering the client and assisting in helping them find the tools they need to heal.”

Carrie Meuse, LMHC.

“For the first time in my adult life, I feel truly heard when I speak at work and I finally feel that my opinions matter. Being a Hispanic woman, I have always felt that people don’t respect or value my opinions and skills as much as my co-workers from other backgrounds. I love working for CFR because I finally feel like my skills are being valued and used for a great purpose and I am a part of creating a very unique and amazing therapy practice.”

Eduardo M. Bustamante, Ph.D.

“Jess instantly made me feel welcomed and valued as both an individual and a professional. She has a unique and lovely energy that uplifts those around her and quickly made me want to join her team. After speaking with Jess, I was really impressed by her and her team’s genuine commitment to client healing, in addition to the wellbeing of their clinicians.

The Center for Resilience has encouraged me to continue using my voice rather than stifling it. Unlike other job sites, I feel as though the administration here aims to empower clinicians rather than silence them, and aims to make sure their team is cared for so they can thrive both in and outside of the workplace.”

Vicky Romero, Administrative Director.

“At CFR, I have the support to do what I feel is best for my clients, with the freedom to create and be fully myself. It's a dream position where client care comes first and everyone is celebrated for who they are.”

Your Questions, Answered
  • Our sessions are offered primarily through secure Telehealth, allowing therapists to work from home within the state of Massachusetts.

This approach eliminates the barriers of travel time, parking, and scheduling conflicts, creating more spaciousness and ease in your week. It also allows us to serve a wider range of clients.

  • At The Center for Resilience, therapy is rooted in relationship, collaboration, and care that honors the full complexity of your experience. Unlike larger agencies or community mental health centers—where therapists often have strict quotas and extensive administrative demands—our small, focused team allows clinicians to dedicate their full attention to each client. Your therapist has access to consultation and supervision—provided in a professional, anonymous format—so you can feel confident that your care is supported without ever compromising your privacy. Our clinicians bring experience from both private and community-based settings, combining high-level therapeutic expertise with a deep understanding of the real-world issues that affect people from all walks of life. At CFR, we are committed to offering individualized, high-quality care—often only found in exclusive private-pay practices—while keeping it accessible to people from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences.

  • Our clinicians are deeply supported in their work. CFR offers ongoing clinical supervision, peer consultation, and weekly group clinical collaboration, where cases can be thoughtfully discussed and supported in a confidential, anonymous space. Because our clinicians aren’t overburdened with the excessive administrative tasks and productivity quotas of larger agencies, they can devote their full energy and focus to your care. This structure ensures that the therapy you receive is thoughtful, high-level, and grounded in clinical excellence. It also addresses a common challenge in larger practice models, where even highly skilled therapists can struggle with burnout—something we are deeply committed to transforming within our practice.

  • Finding the right therapist is essential. At CFR, our intake team takes the time to understand your goals, preferences, and what feels important to you in a therapeutic relationship. From there, we thoughtfully match you with a clinician whose experience and focus align with your needs. You can also view clinician bios and photos on our website and request a specific therapist if they have openings. If at any point the fit doesn’t feel right, we welcome that conversation and will support you in finding the best match. At CFR, we know that you are the expert on your path and that is vital to feel connected with and inspired by the therapist that you choose to work with.
