“I believe therapy can be a space where people feel seen for the fullness of who they are—their identities, experiences, strengths, struggles and the communities that have shaped them.”
Working Together
I work primarily with adolescents and young people navigating trauma, identity, relationships, life transitions and experiences that can leave them feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure of themselves. My approach is warm, person-centered and collaborative, with an emphasis on creating a space where clients can show up authentically and feel respected for who they are.
My work with young people and families across community, residential, foster care and outpatient settings has shaped my understanding that people's experiences cannot be separated from their relationships, cultures, identities and the systems around them. As a queer Nuyorican woman and first-generation high school graduate, I also bring lived experience that informs my commitment to culturally responsive, affirming care—while remaining curious about each client's own identities and experiences rather than assuming that they are the same as mine.
Creativity, music and spirituality are meaningful parts of my own life, and I value the many different ways people make sense of themselves and their experiences. Therapy doesn't have to look one particular way. Together, we can explore what helps you feel more connected to yourself, understand what you've been carrying and discover what healing and growth might look like for you.
