“I believe meaningful change begins when we become curious about what is happening beneath the problem—and build relationships in which people can experience trust, respect, connection and the freedom to discover who they are capable of becoming.”

Working Together

I work with children, adolescents and adults of all ages, individually and with their families. My practice includes families navigating oppositional and defiant behavior, ADHD and other neurodivergent profiles, school struggles and family conflict, as well as adults working through trauma, disrupted trust, difficult relationships and life transitions.

Whatever the age, I am interested in what lies beneath the presenting problem. The child who fights every limit, the teenager who has stopped listening, or the adult whose past keeps intruding on the present is always more than the behavior or symptom that brought them to therapy.

My work is active, relational and practical. With families, parents are partners, not spectators. With adults, the work is collaborative and paced to the person. More than three decades of clinical work have taught me that lasting change rarely comes from controlling behavior or managing symptoms alone. Compliance is fragile. What holds is trust—and trust is built, not demanded.

That understanding led me to develop the 4 LAWS of Trust & Talent, a framework centered on four fundamental needs: to feel safe, to own what is ours, to know that we matter and to have a sense of purpose. The four laws—Limits, Responsibility, Respect and Talent—offer a way to understand what may be happening beneath behavior and within relationships, and to explore how trust can be strengthened or restored.

I also support families navigating school systems, including evaluations, IEPs, 504 plans and discipline, helping parents better understand their child's needs, prepare for meetings and advocate for plans that fit the actual child rather than simply the label.
